Our Team: Jay Hirpara

Jay is a credit trader responsible for implementing the team's credit portfolio strategies. Before joining the firm, Jay was a risk analyst responsible for monitoring risk and balance sheets of all mortgage related assets for Freddie Mac's Retained Portfolio. Prior to that role he served as a fixed income trading assistant with Morgan Stanley where he was primarily responsible for supporting the Agency MBS trading desk with trade entry and allocations for the monthly TBA cycle, and also worked with institutional fixed income sales and trading desks. Jay graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in economics from the University of Maryland, College Park. Jay also completed the Bootcamp in Data Analytics/Machine Learning from Columbia University.
